Sometimes I think back on those days and wish for that easier time when I didn't worry so much about "things".

I wore one of those silver POW/MIA bracelets too and bought one each for my two daughters. My person had some controversy surrounding his remains being found--he is still considered MIA by his family.

Thanks for sharing this--I really enjoyed it.

Peace and love...
GayleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-50733128066416659.post-53045457300835149402011-09-27T07:19:14.665-07:002011-09-27T07:19:14.665-07:00love this,

I lived in London during the 60's and whenever I'm wishing I was a bit younger I remind myself that I wouldn't have been there if I was any younger. They say if you remember the 60's you weren't there. Nonsense. I WAS there and I DO remember it!They were the best days of my life.keiths ramblingshttp://www.keithsramblings.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-50733128066416659.post-43848677465810582192011-09-25T09:56:26.673-07:002011-09-25T09:56:26.673-07:00Hi Susie.. i like ur name :)

They tweaked some of my own memories. I had forgotten about that transistor radio I used to go to bed with. I loved the last stanza of your poem. There are lessons to follow from 'those days,' and perhaps it's time again to wear flowers in one's hair.Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07366010389846904663noreply@blogger.com
