Six Word Saturday ~ October 20, 2012

My oldest daughter doesn't have cancer!!!

My daughter had liver and lymph node biopsies last week and they came back negative for cancer!! She lost her left kidney to cancer in 2008 and each time there is a biopsy we get a little nervous. But today I am just going to celebrate and enjoy the beautiful fall day!!

Here is a digital art piece I created to represent what my daughter has gone through.

See how others describe their day in six words

  6. The beauty of this blogging venue is that I care so much about people I hardly know....We are alike in the end, with the same desires and concerns and feelings....we are all connected and I am so pleased for the outcome of your daughter's tests!

  7. Oh bless you, Susie. There is a God, after all. It must've been torture for you. And there I am being frivolous.

  8. Yea for her! And for you, the Mom!!! We need our kidneys. I had a scare a little over a year ago with a blocked artery to the left kidney. But a stent is now carrying the load very fine. But the right one is a little over 50% blocked.
