Fill your paper with breathings of your heart~William Wordsworth
That's a cute picture, Susie. :)Wonderful words too. I think I have shut the door on going to the South Pole. Antartica though, still an open door...BTW, it's been ages since I've come over to one of your blog posts.Jim's Six Word Saturday..
Thank you Jim. So nice to see you visit here again. Hopefully that door will see you walking through it.
1) "Some doors you have to shut" AMEN TO THAT, SISTER2) Where did you get that photo?!?!?3) My fave Einstein quote.Salute!
Yes, there are some doors that need to be slammed shut!! The photo came from Pinterest. I do love that quote.
One of my favorite Einstein quotes.
I've shut some doors and some I have slammed!
I have done the same...seems there are a few now that need to be slammed!!
Oh so very true, and some need to be bolted and sealed as well! It is always tempting to peek back in to see what's happening now, or to allow someone to slip out and trip you up again. Hard as it is, the past is best left in the past, leaving us free to move on. It is only fear that keeps us from reaching for the promise of tomorrow.
I am learning to keep the door shut once I close it. Not always an easy lesson, but one I must learn if I am to survive.
What a fabulous handle!
Yes. Fear often makes us leave does open, in case we need to escape. But alas, if we are ever to move forward, we need to close the door and leave some things behind. Great post. I am a new follower:McGuffy's Readerhttp://www.mcguffysreader.blogspot.com
